Tuition:
- 30 minute- $50/monthly
- 45 minute- $75/monthly
- 60 minute-$100/monthly
Payment options: Cash or check (due at first lesson of the month)
Student Responsibilities:
Materials – Students are responsible for the purchase of their own books, instruments and other materials needs for the lessons they are receiving . I will assist in referring students to where they can obtain these items or I may purchase the materials for reimbursement. I do have a library of materials that may be borrowed on occasion.
Practicing: As the teacher, I recommend that beginner students practice at a minimum of 15-20 minutes, 5 days a week. Intermediate students should practice 30-35 minutes, 5 days a week and Advanced students should practice 45-60 minutes, 5-6 days a week. Parents are encouraged to be involved in the student’s practicing. Taking time to listen to their pieces encouragingly and watching over the amount of time practiced are good ways to become involved.
Remember! The most progress will be made by students who take practice seriously and diligently.
Attendance: Students are responsible for their reserved time slot. If a student is not available for their weekly lesson for any reason other than sickness, it is not the responsibility of the teacher to make up the missed lesson or reimburse the student for the missed lesson. In addition to this, the students are asked to contact me 24 hours in advance if a student will be unavailable for their lesson.
